The Nashville Stars Basketball Association is recognized as a 501(c) (3) Organization so that your donations are tax-deductible. You can consult your local tax advisor.

The goal of our organization is to put our players in the best position to acquire basketball scholarships. This requires them to not only excel on the basketball court but also in the classroom.  We encourage our players to strive for the best in all that they do. Our goal is to help each of our players earn a basketball scholarship, so they can continue their education and further their basketball careers. Without these scholarship opportunities many of our players would not be able to continue their education. Our mission can only be achieved through the support of the Middle Tennessee Community and surrounding area. 

The current schedule includes trips to Lebanon, Franklin, Knoxville, Arkansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana, Georgia, Hampton Virginia, Orlando Florida, and Washington D. C. These events provide both a unique cultural experience as well as an opportunity for college coaches and scouts from around the country to view the abilities of these young men. Unfortunately, only a few of our players are able to participate without financial support.  The players’ parents cannot afford the travel expenses, uniforms and tournament fees and therefore, we are seeking financial assistance to support our endeavors. This is a great opportunity for young men to develop both as individuals and athletes and can provide opportunities for advancement that they might not otherwise ever be able to experience.

As you can imagine there are a substantial expenses connected to accomplishing our goals. Our goal is to raise at least $25,000 to help pay for travel, food and hotels expenses as well as entry fees for these events. I understand this is quite a financial challenge, but it is necessary to help some worthy young student athletes reach the next level. Remember if we can help just one young man further his education and basketball career all our efforts will be well worth it. By helping our team, you do, indeed, make a difference! Your donations will be greatly appreciated and go directly to our team expenses as none of our coaches receive pay for their time.                   There is no way for us to do it without you and we thank you in advance for your help. Your contributions can assist in the following way:

 

·     $15,000-provides support to the entire team. (15 players)

·     $1,000-provides one player a place on the team.

·     $200-provides warm up for the entire team.

·     $600- provides shoes for the entire team.

·     $1,320- provides uniforms for the entire team.

·     $645-provides practice uniforms for the entire team.

·     $5,000-provides the entire fee for all the tournaments.

·     $500- provides one tournament for the team.

·     $300- provides travel bags for the entire team.

·     $5,000-provides travel for the entire season.

·     $2,000-provides food for the entire season.

·     $5,000-provides hotels for the entire season.

·     $5,000-provides the gym fees for the entire season.

·     $10 to $100-provides support to the entire team.

·     Gift Cards –provides support to the entire team.
